As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

• The manuscript is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration by another journal.
• The manuscript is written in English and has been prepared using the current official SEeB template.
• The submission complies with the journal’s thematic profile and formal requirements.
• All applicable Statements required by the SEeB template have been completed in the manuscript.
• All in-text citations and reference-list entries have been verified for accuracy and correspondence.
• All figures, tables, and accompanying files have been prepared in accordance with the journal’s technical and digital-accessibility requirements.
• A correctly completed and signed Publishing Agreement has been uploaded with the submission.
• The corresponding author has completed the mandatory online Thematic Classification Form.
• The authors have read and accepted the journal’s Publishing Ethics Policy, Open Access Policy, and Policy on the Use of AI Tools.
• The publication of the manuscript and all accompanying materials do not infringe the rights of third parties.
