The article interprets the Syriac concept rāzā (ܪܳ ܳܙܳܐ) as a hermeneutical key in the poetry of Ephrem the Syrian. In his thought, rāzā denotes the way the Logos dwells in the world without ceasing to be God – the presence of the divine in the visible. It expresses a structure of revelation grounded in the tension between the hidden and the revealed, disclosing a single logic of the Word’s activity in creation, Scripture, and the Incarnation. In these dimensions, the symbol becomes a locus of God’s real yet hidden presence, unveiling his mystery through the veil of signs, words, and flesh.
