12. Streszczenie w języku angielskim The modern family is exposed to many negative external factors, which in a way different and rapidly lead to the disintegration and disorganization. Still increasing the pace of life, lack of time and patience, as well as inadequate preparation for the role of a parent is often too high a standard to which most people cannot cope. Personal desires, aspi-rations, career development, for which recovery is intended to provide a higher economic status and greater acceptance and social respectabi¬lity pose a real threat to the family and the performance of its functions to a child. It should be pointed out that the time spent on education is sometimes invaluable. Time spent together helps build closeness and bonding. For a proper and full development of the child is the most important quality of time lived together - not just donating it to the nursery operations but also focus on the child, listening to the child in his desires and needs. However, many parents is the illusion that it’s getting a lot more urgent and important matters, it seems to them that still manage to raise their children. Sometimes it happens that the parents simply run away from their children, claiming that the work, duties and apologizing, however, that after what they do, they do also for the sake of their children to ensure their future prosperity and security.
Many institutions – preschool institutions, schools, mass media, lo¬cal communities, associations, care and educational centers, communi¬ty centers, welfare centers, cultural institutions trying to help families in their care and educational activities. A special role in this process plays a kindergarten aid. The activities of the kindergarten in its as¬sumptions is closely linked to and subordinate to the education and socialization of the child in the family, since it was implemented in the family should be the functions and tasks that affect the life, develop¬ment, upbringing and education of children. Family is first and basic living environment for children, kindergarten and other education insti¬tutions and care do not care about the educational function of families, but support it in action. The concept of the kindergarten must therefore be linked to current social realities and to respond to contemporary needs of families.
The article includes discussion of aspects of the family of the great city together with the results of research on parents’ expectations to the institution kindergarten.
