Using Schoen and Teddlie’s Model of School Culture: Holistic and Analytical Approach to the School Environment Research

Abstract

Based on the literature review we can conclude that a scientific approach to school culture is non-homogeneous. In this text, the authors have considered the difficulties in examinating this phenomenon and then presenting an example of research procedure, which enabling them to overcome those difficulties. This procedure was prepared and implemented by the authores. A Schoen and Teddlieâs Model of School Culture was a starting point for developing it. Thereby, this model has provided the basis for integrating all these things about school culture which have been rooted in various research traditions.
