Abstract

The article presents two liturgical-musical manuscripts from the Carmelite monastery in Obory: an antiphonary and a gradual. The author makes a general characteristic of these sources, pointing to their codicological features and content. Then he presents a resource of psalm distinctions of the antiphonary. Using the Canadian online project of Rebecca Shaw (http://differentiaedatabase.ca) he determines to what extent the endings of the Obor Codex belong to the commonly used euouae patterns and to what extent the book contains melodic variants that find no counterparts in the choral tradition.
