Abstract

The new evangelization is the enthusiasm to live the faith passed on to communities that are still unaware of the Good News. Contemporary evangelizers, for whom Saint Paul is a model, should undertake activities in the area of “modern areopagos” – large urban agglomerations, and proclaim the Gospel also through the means of communication used today by the broadly understood culture. There are two main tasks facing the new evangelization: updating the forms of communication to the contemporary language of communication, as well as shaping culture in accordance with the Gospel, creating a Christian culture.
