Pedagogic Activity of TPD Environmental Educational Centres as a Factor Supporting Child Upbringing in the Family

Abstract

Recognition of the sources and effects of social orphanhood implies a number of issues aimed at assessing the scale of this phenomenon. This knowledge is a prerequisite for the initiation and designing of support actions for families at different levels of dysfunctionality. The goal of conducted research was to ve- rify the thesis that implementation of preventive methods of family support adapted to its specific problems and needs, forestalls separation of children and their families. The object of the research was to analyse to what extend environmental TPD centres realize the statutory assumptions regarding child and family care.
