Abstract

This paper discusses pluralism and the uncertainty of trends in the global ethics of responsibility, contrasting them with Catholic social teaching. The article attempts to show both points of convergence as well as the controversy associated with the demand of global governance and proposed solutions for population control. A key determinant in the conclusive evaluation is the personalistic norm, that is, a complete picture of the human person.
