Abstract

The article: “Life and work of Patriarch Benjamin I of Alexandria (622-661) in history of Coptic patriarchs of Alexandria” show’s life of father Benjamin as a head of Monophysitic Church of Egypt in first year’s under rule of the Muslims, his work of rebuilding of consolidation of church under his leadership, it also shows us relations between Copts and old and new rulers of Egypt.
