Abstract

The presented article shows the characteristic features in the singing of the psalms of the tradition of the family of Saint Francis. The author has focused on two problems: proportion between individual psalm tones and catalog of psalm endings in the Franciscan, St. Bernard and Poor Clare sources. In both cases, he isolates specific characteristics that allowed distinguishing the Franciscans from diocesan antitypics and other branches of the Order.
