Abstract

This contribution highlights liturgical formation, which is ardently desired by the Church. The foundation of this formation is the mystery of Christ always living and working in the Church. It unites with the celebrations, in which and through which "an adherence" takes place of the believer in Christ – Son of God; „a resemblance” or a result „of the form – image” of Christ, in order to "be" Christ's, "live" according to His will and "act" in Christ's charity. The main criteria of liturgical formation concern seven truths: liturgy has its body and his soul; liturgical life takes place in the community of the Church; liturgical actions are celebrations of the Church and belong to the individual members of the Church, who must exercise their duties with sincere piety; liturgical life is objective and therefore the participants in the liturgy surpass the subjectivism and obtains an objective attitude, which leans on Christ and on God; the church is responsible for liturgical formation; spiritual liturgical formation constitutes „a way ordinariness of holiness and perfection”; liturgical actions are a school of asceticism and Christian contemplation. Instead, the particular criteria consider above all five moments of formation, which yes implements: in participation in liturgical celebrations, when one knows the very nature of liturgy; in the celebration of the Eucharist; in the administration of the sacraments; by means of the liturgical prayer; and finally by means of the formation of the time (of the liturgical year). Finally, the author concludes his considerations by drawing conclusions and indicating certainties postulates.
