Speaking of the spirituality of the educator in Don Bosco's style one can distinguish the three poles of reflection: 1) what is meant by the word spirituality?, 2) what content is found under the expression "spirituality of the educator"?, 3) what is the specificity of Don Bosco's educative-pastoral experience? Using the word spirituality in the Christian context, we speak of life in the Holy Spirit which means a new way of existing as a child of God, a new way of thinking in the light of faith, a new style of interpersonal relationships based on evangelical love and a new way of acting with force bearing witness to God.The expression "spirituality of the educator" means the way of life of the educator in the Holy Spirit. It is a way of life that deeply unites educational work with the spirit of the person. It is a way of education that leads to the risen Christ.John Bosco being proclaimed a saint by the Church at the same time is indicated as a model of spirituality for an educator. His educational method (Preventive System) is also a manifestation of spirituality. On the basis of the reflection made by the representatives of all branches of the Salesian Family expressed in the Charter of the Mission, the following elements of the educator's spirituality can be listed: 1) an integral and unitary project of education and evangelisation: "Evangelize by educating and educate by evangelising" , 2) an inspiration deriving from the icon of the Good Shepherd, 3) the dynamic pastoral charity which finds its source in the heart of Christ, 4) the spirituality of everyday life which is expressed in action and in life, 5) the kindness which extends into all human relationships, 6) apostolic prayer, profound but simple, full of trust in the Fatherhood of God, 7) devotion to Mary, Mother and Teacher to whom God entrusted his Son to educate him.
