The Subject and Curricula of Catechetical Teaching in Poland in the First Half of the 20th Century

Abstract

The article entitled „The subject and programs of catechetical teaching in Połonin in the first half of the 20th century” consists of two parts. In the first part, after having traced the historical context, the attention of the study comes placed on the general subject of catechetical teaching, which remained in accordance with the setting neo-scholastic theology, In the second part, the contribution attempts to analyze the programs of catechetical teaching in elementary and middle schools. The two programs of the inse are presented signing of the Catholic religion in Poland, in force in the twenty years between the first and second world War.
