Upbringing in the Family and the Preventive System Don Boscos. An attempt to Indicate a Correlation

Abstract

The controversy between the promoters of the private school, which is mostly Catholic, and those of the lla state school held in France in the second half of the nineteenth century favor! the birth of the pedagogical formula called the. preventive system. This discussion also proved where the proponents of the preventive system found one of the greatest inspirations in the family christian. Don Bosco - he lived a few years later in Italy - inspired by the preventive system and giving it a very particular character, he did everything because in his educational institutions rC¡>the family spirit was born. In this essay the author first tries to demonstrate how he was born in Don Bosco We are convinced that we set up the educational process by taking the Christian family as a model. Subsequently, he highlights the ways in which Don Bosco embodies the family spirit between the Salesians and his pupils. The author, drawing inspiration from Don Bosco's preventive system, undertakes, Finally, to offer today's parents some educational solutions.
