Abstract

The question about the effectiveness of the preached word, sermon, homily is constantly asked. Especially when it concerns preaching to a young person. Looking for a solution problem, we first look for the challenges that preachers face. These are first, the challenges posed by Jesus in the command “Go into all the world and preach the gospel” read by the Pope of our times, John Paul II. Then we analyze the system called postmodernism promoted in the world today. Finally, we will listen to the voice of young people. Their needs, language, are a challenge and help for the preacher. After getting acquainted with the current challenges faced preaching the Word of God, we show directions of development aimed at improving the effectiveness of the message of the Gospel to young people. In the first place, we focus on specialist pastoral care, addressed to the young listener. It takes into account the environment, education, culture, Tongue. The next stage is an integral approach to the human being existential, religious, emotional scandal, etc. This requires an educated preacher humanistic, religious, pedagogical, psychological to a degree obviously needed for this service. An important factor in the ministry of preaching is to take into account the principles of New Evangelization, sensitive to new conditions, new method, new content, new audiences, and new actors involved evangelistic activity. We do not forget to take into account the problems of listeners. Their voice indicates the content necessary for living in this world, including on ideological and religious content. Life experiences are the best starting point in the Gospel message. Young people point to the most convincing ones attitudes and language in which the Gospel can be preached. The language for sure pictorial, supported by life experience, a testimony of faith.
