Metanoia in the Life of a Christian in the Perspective of the Third Millennium

Abstract

As a positive reaction against the growing tendency of loosing the conscience of sin and we" of spiritual and moral aspirations is the new evaluation of Christ’s calling to the 'metanoia' (Mt 4 17) In this context the present research was undertaken, which had the main goal to answer the Vstion: What is the part of metanoia in the process of person's formation? The study was on the authoritative fonts in this subject, i.e. the official Catholic Church Documents beginr firm the Second Vatican Council. The definition of the ‘metanoia’ guided the whole study. In n'nk 0~ess of reaching the Christian maturity the metanoia has its remarkable formative character and the formative value in the realization of Christ's Paschal Mystery.
