Music in the Educational System of the Salesians Don Bosco

Abstract

In Don Bosco's preventive system, music and singing had their own and very place important up to being considered as the pillar of the nascent educational system. The reflection it shows the space that music occupies not only in the initial activity of the Cogregation Salesian, but also in today's times, that is at the end of the 20th century. The Salesians cultivate tradition musical according to the thoughts and dreams of its founder. They use because in their training and in the training of their pupils music and singing take an adequate place and dimension principal and irreplaceable.
