Abstract

Swobnica is a town located in the Western Region southwards from Szczecin about 60km. Salesians have been working in the parish pectoral since 1946. After the erection of the province of northern Poland (St. Adalbert) the novitiate remained common for the two Northern Provinces in Czerwińsk until 1983. It was thought to open the novitiate Skrzatusz, but they chose Swobnica for reasons of the new parish house. From the beginning of novitiate the role of master of novices is performed by Fr Bolesław Leciej.
