Abstract

The article by A. Lebiedź SDB, wants to show the problem of nature, gender and Consequences of Sin in St. Augustine's De Civitate Dei. There we find a fairly clear one image of the probierni of Augustinian theology. Augustine, in panorama of the life of man and of world, in the context of the idea of two nations, shows what sin is, especially sin original. The image of sin that results from the reading of De civitate Dei is very original, in what man describes, who experienced the destructive force of sin in his own life. Augustine knows very well what it means to return to God through the grace of Christ, therefore his message also applies to us today.
