Abstract

The article attempts to look at the dogma of the Assumption of Mary in a new way placing it in the ecumenical perspective. Meditate the assumption as image and beginning of eschatological church, interpret it in the light of proleptic eschatology, or see it as a dynamic process, creates new interpretative possibilities of the controversial, from the point of view ecumenical, dogma. Contrary to the predictions of some theologians, according to which the dogmatization of the assumption was to contribute to the downfall of the ecumenical movement, afterwards 45 years, one can really think of an elaboration of such an interpretation, of the doctrine in question, which could be accepted by all Christians. The definition of a dogmatic truth, contrary to the opinion of some theologians too favorable to the principle Rome locuta cause finite, it doesn't conclude at all and it doesn't even prohibit to continue in the reflection and in the searches of a more sense deep and complete with truth itself.
