Lutomiersk on the Ner is located 17 kilometers from Łódź to the west. In 1926 the bishop W. Tymieniecki placed the Salesians here and gave them the church and the convent post-Franciscan. The new managers have restored the convent and organized the orphanage there for the boys, however, the church took on the character of the rector's church. The orphanage worked up to 23 IV 1941, even during the German occupation. The free rooms the Germans exploited for its warehouses. From January 1942 only 2 Salesians lived in Lutomiersk: Fr L. Rupala and coadjutor J. Mrozik. After the experience of the second war, the spiritual sons of Don Bosco decided to restart the educational work carried out before employment. This work worked until September 1951 and then it was closed among other things due to the fire in the convent. Currently the building functions as a retreat house for real groups. It is thought in the near future to organize the school of organists that would bear the name here by the famous Salesian musician Don A. Chlondowski.
