A very felt and growing problem in contemporary society becomes orphanhood natural and social. Social orphanhood is usually a result of pathology of the part of society and lack of adult moral responsibility for new human life. Every orphan brings with it many negative effects for children. For this reason each modern society must ensure these children the natural and necessary conditions for development. The orphanage as the most developed form of caring for orphaned children, it seems that it does not fully meet the needs of these children. it seems, that the optimal form is always the placement of the child in the family. Every healthy family realizes two fundamental tasks: it is the best environment for the development of children and ensures them all basic needs. In this context it seems that the substitute family, above all the family of adoption becomes a better way to calm the effects of orphanhood.
