Polish Salesians as Academic Teachers of Universities and Academies

Abstract

Twenty Polish Salesians are currently (1987) employed as university teachers. They work at the following institutions: the Catholic University of Lublin (10), the Academy of Catholic Theology in Warsaw (5), the Universita Pontificia Salesiana in Romę (4) and the Jagellonian University, Cracow (1). They represent the following fields: catechetics — 3; Biblical studies, morał theology, psychology, musicology and philology (classical and Polish) — two each; theology of spirituality, pastorał theology, Church history, patristics and history of philosophy — one each. Two work as librarians. Most of the twenty also teach at Salesian seminaries.
