John Rawls: contractualism and constructivism

Abstract

In the article the author discusses two topics that are important for understanding the nature of practical justification. The first one is the contractualistic procedure of justification; the second one is the constructivist procedure of justification. Both play a crucial role in the justification of the concept of justice.
