The review discusses the monograph Social Support in Old Age: A Pedagogical and Psychological Perspective with Practical Applications by Agata Chabior, Małgorzata Krawczyk-Blicharska, and Katarzyna Potaczała-Perz. The book presents the issue of social support for older adults from an interdisciplinary perspective, combining pedagogical and psychological approaches with examples of practical initiatives aimed at seniors. The authors examine the ageing process, the needs of older people, the importance of social support for quality of life, and the role of educational, social, and cultural activities in later adulthood. Particular attention is devoted to initiatives such as Universities of the Third Age and the Active Senior University project. The reviewed publication is assessed as a valuable and reliable source of knowledge for both researchers and practitioners interested in ageing and social support.
