Sens dosłowny i duchowy w świetle kwestii quodlibetalnych Tomasza z Akwinu

Abstrakt

Celem artykułu jest określenie, na czym polega doniosłość sensu dosłownego w twórczości Tomasza z Akwinu, oraz zbadanie, w jakim zakresie powtarzana za teoretycznymi stwierdzeniami Akwinaty teza o prymacie sensu dosłownego rzeczywiście daje się utrzymać. W badaniach prowadzonych w dialogu z opracowaniami współczesnych uczonych uwzględniono przede wszystkim stwierdzenia Tomasza wyrażone w kwestii szóstej siódmego quodlibetu, jednak odczytano je na szerszym tle spuścizny Doktora Anielskiego, m.in. jego komentarzy biblijnych i późniejszych od quodlibetu dzieł. Pozwalają one zinterpretować niejednoznaczne wypowiedzi w nim zapisane oraz złagodzić tezę o Tomaszu jako puryście zainteresowanym głównie sensem dosłownym.

Sławomir Zatwardnicki (dr) – doktor teologii, adiunkt na Papieskim Wydziale Teologicznym we Wrocławiu. Sekretarz redakcji „Wrocławskiego Przeglądu Teologicznego”. Wykładowca, publicysta, autor wielu artykułów oraz osiemnastu książek. Członek Towarzystwa Teologów Dogmatyków w Polsce oraz Stowarzyszenia Teologów Fundamentalnych w Polsce. Zaangażowany w działalność ewangelizacyjno-formacyjną, odpowiedzialny za jedną z filii Szkoły Życia Chrześcijańskiego i Ewangelizacji Świętej Maryi z Nazaretu Matki Kościoła.
