Abstract

The purpose of the article is to characterize the situation of children with disabilities during the pandemic COVID-19. Based on the national and foreign publications the paper describes the problems which affect this group of school students in the context of online education and rehabilitation as well as the opportunities of support. The analyzed issues, depending on the abundance of literature, have been presented, as much as possible, from the perspective of parents, students and teachers. The conclusion includes recommendations essential for teaching practice which may prove useful and inspiring while organizing widely understood support for children with disabilities.
