• The Scientific Council of the journal Canon Law is a consultative and advisory body to the editor-in-chief.
• The members of the Scientific Council of the journal Canon Law are appointed and dismissed by the editor-in-chief.
• The Scientific Council, in cooperation with the Editorial Team, ensures the realization of the journal's programmatic character.
• The members of the Scientific Council, in consultation with the Editorial Team, set the directions and areas of research to be pursued by the authors in each issue of the journal.
• The task of the Scientific Council is to provide substantive oversight of accepted publications and to integrate them into the publication plan.
• The Scientific Council decides on the content and developmental direction of the journal Canon Law, proposes funding strategies for the journal, and provides opinions on other matters related to the journal.
• The Scientific Council proposes candidates for the Editorial Team, who should actively contribute to the development and effective management of the journal.
• The Scientific Council formulates recommendations regarding the roles and responsibilities of the Editorial Team members.
• Members of the Scientific Council co-create and approve the Ethical Standards of the journal Canon Law.
• The members of the Scientific Council promote the journal "Canon Law" in the national and international scientific community.
