Abstract

Basically, in the matter of the dialogical principle and its use for the purposes of social philosophy, such paradigms are formulated as to reinterpret Aristotle’s thought in the market of modern philosophical ideas (man is a socio-political being). The aim of this article, however, will be to show a different interpretative path in the cognitive and ethical aspect. This reflection will use the “I” from the philosophy of dialogue, which in this context should be understood as a unique subject “fighting for itself” through the prism of “you” and “we”. The leitmotif will be the problem of truth and knowing the truth about oneself in terms of the contemporary understanding of the dialogical principle.
