Educator in a Catholic school

Abstract

Catholic school educator. The fulfillment of the tasks and aims of the Catholic school depends not only on choices of subjects taught and educational-didactic programs but rather by people engaged in schools. Precisely the teachers through their work and their testimony they become important protagonists of the Church's educational mission in schools. Article presented and a proof of presentation of the person of the educator in the Catholic school in the light of canon 803 § 2 CIC/1983 and other Church documents. Author's reflection starts from the comment on the vocation and identity of the educator to then move on to highlight rc the indispensable elements in their professional scholastic preparation. Subsequently, it comes dealt with the problem of the help offered to educators by the Church. Speaking of the vocation of the educator the author understands and deals with the problem from two points of view, that is, like the vocation of the laity and the vocation of religious and people consecrated.
