Abstract

A Perspective of Applied Theology” analyzes how new technologies impact religious communication and faith formation. The author discusses the mechanisms of content personalization and user profiling in social media, and their potential application in evangelization. The opportunities and challenges associated with digital technologies, such as misinformation and deep fakes, are presented. The document highlights the role of applied theology, which combines theological reflection with other disciplines, in helping the Church adapt to digital realities and effectively evangelize in the virtual world. The article employs research methods such as a literature review, descriptive methods, and a critical analysis of the phenomenon described in the text.
