Open Access Policy

The publishing policy of the Francis de Sales Scientific Society regarding material published in “Seminare” follows the Libre Open Access standard. This means that all articles published in this journal are available online free of charge for reading, downloading, and sharing. Articles published according to the Libre Open Access standard can be posted on any website, used for lectures, and placed in the so-called reading rooms without the need to obtain permission from the author or publisher. However, proper reference to the author and license must always be included.

Articles published in “Seminare” are covered by the Creative Commons CC BY-ND 4.0 Internationa License that allows for:

 

  • Sharing - Copying and distributing works on any medium and in any format; for any purpose, including commercial.

Under the following conditions:

  • Attribution – it is required to give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate any changes made to the work. This can be done in any reasonable manner, as long as it does not suggest that the licensor endorses the person making the change or the way in which the work is used.
  • No derivatives– When remixing, transforming, or building upon the work, it is not allowed to distribute the modified material.

The policy on copyright of materials published in “Seminare”: copyright of published materials is retained by authors.

Policy on editorial fees: Authors bear no costs for the publication of their articles, this also includes article processing charges (APCs), editorial fees, colour charges, submission fees, as well as page charges, membership fees, subscription costs, printing, and other ancillary fees. The editors do not pay authors for published materials.

The policy on depositing different versions of materials sent to the editors of “Seminare”: authors may, without any restrictions, deposit: 1) submitted, 2) accepted, and 3) published versions of their manuscripts in institutional or other repositories of their choice.

Long-term archiving service: Published issues of “Seminare” are permanently stored at the National Library of Poland.
