“Family Studies” has been published since 1997 as a biannual journal of the Faculty of Family Studies at Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University. Since 2016, the journal has become a quarterly publication. In the scientific journal ranking announced on December 23, 2015, the journal received 8 points - part B of the list of scientific journals, position 1777.

Scope and reach of the journal

The journal “Studia nad Rodziną” (Family Studies) is a forum for interdisciplinary exchange and multifaceted scientific reflection on issues related to marriage and family. The journal publishes peer-reviewed articles in the field of family studies, covering both theoretical and historical aspects of the development of family studies, as well as family identity and various aspects of its functioning from a philosophical, theological, psychological, pedagogical, sociological, legal, economic, health (medicine), political, historical, and cultural perspectives. The journal also includes book reviews, reports, and announcements related to academic events concerning the journal’s area of focus.
