“Artifex Novus” is a scholarly journal published by Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw under the auspices of the Institute of Art History. Published annually since 2017, it features contributions on historical and contemporary art and architecture from both Polish and international perspectives. Each issue is devoted to a specific theme (e.g. Art in Mazovia, The Old Polish Portrait), to which a section of the published articles is dedicated. The remaining sections contain articles and studies addressing other topics in the field of art history, as well as reviews, reports, and accounts of scholarly activities and events. The journal is available in both print and electronic formats.The Editorial Board welcomes original, previously unpublished scholarly contributions in Polish and English. (more)
