Abstract

The aim of the article is to present the history and activities of the Faculty of Studies on the UKSW Family in Warsaw in 2010-2020, i.e. the ten years of the existence of this Faculty as a separate institution within the university. First, the history of the Institute of Family Studies, established within the Academy of Catholic Theology in Warsaw, which is the source of the future Faculty, is discussed. The next part of the text presents the subsequent history of the premises, presents the assumptions and goals of teaching at the Faculty, discusses the forms of care for students and the Faculty’s staff and management methods, as well as various forms of cooperation with the economic environment and research centers in Poland and abroad.
