The Faculty of Family Studies, which dates back to the activities of Archbishop K. Majdański at the Academy of Catholic Theology and many other people expressing scientific concern for marriage and family, during the first decade of its independent existence at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw, con- tinues research in the discipline family science. Although the team of research and teaching staff was not large, because most of that time it consisted of a dozen or so people, we managed to develop various fields of scientific research. The aim of the article is to present the scientific achievements of academic teachers working at the Fa- culty of Family Studies at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. This is not a complete list of people or their legacy. The most significant and committed people and their most important achievements are marked here. This description is structured according to pre-existing cathedrals.
