Conditions of Publication
Authors do not bear any costs associated with the publication of their articles, nor do they receive any financial gratification. They are entitled, however, to a free copy of the journal volume in which their text was published.
When submitting a manuscript, authors must upload not only the main Word file prepared in accordance with the PK template, but also all required supplementary files: separate graphic files for all figures, an Excel file with editable charts (if applicable), a Word file with alt text for all figures, and a completed, scanned and signed (pdf format) Agreement on article publication by Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University Publishing House and Appendix No. 1 to Agreement on article publication by Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University Publishing House.
The authors consent to the processing of their personal data.
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The Editorial Board accepts texts that have not been previously published and have not been submitted for publication in any other publishing house.
Submission of materials is equivalent to a statement that the author has familiarized themselves with the ethical principles in force at «Prawo Kanoniczne» (PK).
The author agrees to sign a declaration committing to ethical principles and transferring copyright to the UKSW Publishing House.
The authors declare that:
They have have reviewed the "Open Access Policy" of the PK journal, available on its website, and fully agree with it.
The publication of the article and its graphic materials does not infringe upon the rights of any third parties.
They have reviewed the "AI Policy" of the PK journal, available on its website, and fully agree with it.
In the case of multi-author works, the author is required to provide information on each author’s percentage contribution and to indicate the scope of work performed by each of them.
The author agrees to indicate the sources of funding for the research presented in the scientific article or for the preparation of the scientific article.
The author declares that there is no conflict of interest concerning the funding of the research, the development of the subject matter, the presentation of conclusions, the review process, or the publication in the PK journal.
The author is obliged to sign a statement on the use or non-use of AI-assisted tools and content generators in the writing and preparation of the article, in accordance with the journal’s AI Policy and the instructions in the template for manuscripts.
Authors are also required to complete the online thematic classification form (SDGs / Polish heritage research/gender equality perspective).
