Abstract

The article discusses the National Eucharistic Revival in the USA (2022–2025), a Catholic
Church initiative addressing the decline in belief in the real presence of Christ in the
Eucharist. Central to this effort was the National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis,
accompanied by parish events and retreats aimed at deepening the understanding and
experience of the Eucharist. Research reveals gaps in Catholics’ knowledge of Eucharistic
theology, necessitating extensive education. With the involvement of clergy, bishops,
and laity, the initiative has evolved into a spiritual renewal movement, highlighting the
Eucharist as the foundation of the Church community. This effort is not only a response
to challenges in the USA but also a call for global faith renewal and witness to God’s love.
