Abstract

The Thomistic Symposium, together with the presentation of Professor Mieczysław Gogacz Award, is organized by the Department of the History of Philosophy at the Institute of Philosophy, Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw and the Thomistic Scholar Society. The symposium is an opportunity to celebrate the best Master’s theses, which, as stated in the Rules and Regulations of the Award, advance “the study of the thought of St. Thomas Aquinas and the promotion of Thomistic philosophy in Poland, and also refer to the scientific achievements of Professor Mieczysław Gogacz”. During the symposium, the laureates not only receive an award, but also deliver research papers aimed at a wide audience. So far, the winners of the award have been graduates of several universities from all over Poland.
