Abstract

Social interactions in the modern world are increasingly carried out by means of e-mail or various messengers. Such solutions are a great help for people who find it difficult to make eye contact or direct conversation. The development of technology provides people with autism spectrum with many opportunities, but at the same time it can cause some limitations in everyday relationships with other people. The use of computer programs in therapy with a child on the autism spectrum can help educators in ongoing work with this group of students and at the same time allow the child himself to better and faster understand the presented content in an attractive way.

In this publication, the authors will want to refer to the issue of using computer programs in educational and therapeutic work with children on the autism spectrum. The idea of ​​using them provides the child with multidimensional support, including in the area of ​​language, cognitive and emotional development. The authors also indicate the positive and negative aspects of using these technologies in autism therapy.
