Studia Ecologiae et Bioethicae (SEeB) is an interdisciplinary academic journal devoted to the humanistic study of the ecological crisis and the relationships between human beings, society, and the natural world.
The journal publishes research in environmental ethics, ecophilosophy, and the philosophical, social, cultural, political, religious, and ecotheological dimensions of contemporary ecological challenges. It promotes interdisciplinary dialogue grounded in a critical and interpretative approach to environmental issues.
SEeB is particularly interested in contributions that go beyond description and offer in-depth theoretical, ethical, or policy-oriented reflection. Submissions that do not engage with the humanistic, ethical, or socio-political dimensions of environmental issues are generally considered outside the journal’s scope.

It will take place on 11–12 September 2026 in Chișinău at the “Ion Creanga” State Pedagogical University of Chișinău.

We are pleased to announce that the journal “Studia Ecologiae et Bioethicae” (SEeB) has been included in the international information system FAO AGRIS (International System for Agricultural Science and Technology). The metadata of articles published in SEeB are now indexed in the FAO database, increasing the global visibility of research conducted at Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw (UKSW) and highlighting Poland’s contribution to the development of agricultural and environmental sciences. Our University has been assigned a unique FAO AGRIS ID: PLV, and the institutional profile of UKSW is available on the FAO AGRIS website. We trust that this cooperation with FAO AGRIS will further strengthen our journal's position and promote open access to research results.

Dear SEeB Friends!
We would like to kindly inform you that our journal "Studia Ecologiae et Bioethicae" (ISSN: 2719-826X, 1733-1218) has passed the evaluation process and is indexed in the ICI Journals Master List database for 2024. Based on the verification of information on the functioning of our journal in 2024, the value of its parametric strength (ICV indicator) was calculated: ICV 2024 = 120.75.
We are delighted that the efforts of our editorial team and the support of the Scientific Council members and reviewers resulted in such a good score. Our rating for 2023 was 100 points.
