Ecological Challenges in the 21st Century: Between Nature and Society – Interdisciplinary Reflections on Environmental Crisis is an international academic conference organized as part of the Humanistic Ecology series. It will take place on 11–12 September 2026 in Chișinău at the “Ion Creanga” State Pedagogical University of Chișinău.

The conference is dedicated to interdisciplinary reflection on the environmental crisis and its anthropological, ethical, social, cultural, legal, and educational dimensions. The organizers invite submissions of papers on environmental philosophy, environmental ethics, climate justice, environmental law, education for sustainable development, and empirical research and case studies.
