One of the risks society has to cope with nowadays is the unauthorised acquisition of personal and real estate data recorded in land and mortgage registers. The problems involved in the prevention of risks of this kind are proportional to the amount of information recorded in generally accessible land and mortgage registers which guarantee the truth and accuracy of such data.
One of the challenges facing public administrative bodies is to work together with the judiciary to protect the data in land and mortgage registers and the documents attached to them, while at the same time ensuring the accessibility of the land and mortgage registers, which are the instruments guaranteeing the security of conveyancing.
