Abstract

The main topic of this article is the definition and legal status of the employer and employers’ association in the light of labour relations. My aim is to determine whether the definition of the employer and the legal nature of the employers’ association in current use are compatible with the contemporary challenges facing Polish labour law. Do the legal regulations now in force require amendment? If they do, then the question arises which aspects of the operations of employers and their organisations the EU or national legislative body should consider for review.
