ARTIFEX NOVUS is a scientific journal published by the Institute of Art History of the Cardinal Wyszyński University in Warsaw. It has been published since 2017. It publishes: scientific articles, reviews, reports and announcements in the field of old and contemporary art, both Polish and foreign. Each issue has a leading theme (e.g. art in Mazovia, the art of portraiture), to which some of the dissertations are devoted. Other sections contain articles and studies on other issues, discussions, reviews, reports and relations. The journal is available in paper and electronic versions. (more)

W czasopiśmie publikuje się artykuły, recenzje, sprawozdania i raporty poświęcone aktualnym tematom i wydarzeniom związanym z problematyką wolności religijnej w ujęciu teologii stosowanej. Prawo do wolności religijnej wynika z godności osoby ludzkiej, dlatego podstawowe tematy artykułów skupione są wokół antropologii chrześcijańskiej. Z racji praktycznego charakteru wolności religijnej poruszane również będą zagadnienia z zakresu prakseologii pastoralnej. "Christianity-World-Politics" is a unique journal in the field of political science and quite widely recognized in the academic community, published in paper and on-line form. Its uniqueness results from the issues it deals with, focusing on "soft political science" (the philosophy and theory of politics, the axiology and anthropology of politics, political ethics, and the relationship between politics and religion, including Catholic social science), the quality of texts published - which to a large extent come from the pen of widely recognized, outstanding Polish and foreign authors - and, finally, an academic paradigm different from other periodicals. As the aim of the journal is to look at broadly understood political issues from the perspective of a dynamic Christian tradition, in place of the atheistic paradigm dominating political science, the journal is based on a transcendental paradigm, remaining open to researchers adopting an agnostic paradigm. Collectanea Theologica is a Scopus-list scholarly quarterly of Polish theologians. It publishes scholarly papers on positive theology and speculative theology. Its significant part are bulletins (biblical, theological-moral, missiological-religious studies, related to the sociology of religion, and concerning the Polish diaspora) devoted to the current issues and events from the above-mentioned areas of theology. The journal also publishes reports on important scholarly events, as well as reviews.

"Colloquia Litteraria" is a semi-annual journal of literary studies, which publishes studies and dissertations in the field of history and theory of literature, editing and literary criticism. Individual issues include monographic studies and dissertations, reviews of scientific dissertations, editorial studies of nineteenth- and twentieth-century texts important for culture and literature that have not been published before, and the first translations of literary texts important for the world humanities. "Colloquia Litteraria" is published in the form of thematic issues devoted to various fields of literary studies and interdisciplinary issues.

Kwartalnik Człowiek w Cyberprzestrzeni jest ogólnopolskim czasopismem naukowym o charakterze interdyscyplinarnym, wydawanym w postaci elektronicznej i druku zwartego, którego celem jest rozwijanie refleksji naukowej nad istotą i funkcjonowaniem społeczeństwa informacyjnego, w tym jego prawnych, socjologicznych, technologicznych i biznesowych aspektów.

Establishing an open-access journal is necessary to create a scientific platform for both the exchange of experiences of academic staff in Poland and Europe and the promotion of humanistic ideas in medicine in connection with health policy.
The magazine is intended to highlight in particular aspects of the humanization of medicine, which is an extremely necessary and expected change in the functioning of current health care systems, because focusing on empathy and patient care ensures better quality of care and better treatment results. Thanks to this, patients feel listened to and understood, which positively affects their experience of the disease and treatment. The humanization of medicine also enables better communication and collaboration between patients and doctors, leading to more sustainable and effective treatment. The dimension of humanistic medicine and bioethics is particularly important in connection with the development of medical technologies, artificial intelligence and telemedicine.

Powołanie czasopisma w formie open-access jest niezbędne do stworzenia naukowej platformy zarówno wymiany doświadczeń kadry akademickiej w Polsce i Europie jak i propagowania idei humanistycznej w medycynie w powiązaniu z polityką zdrowotną.
Czasopismo w sposób szczególny ma zaznaczać aspekty humanizacji medycyny, co jest niezwykle potrzebną i oczekiwaną zmianą w funkcjonowaniu obecnych systemów opieki zdrowotnej, ponieważ skupienie się na empatii oraz trosce o pacjenta zapewnia lepszą jakość opieki oraz lepsze wyniki leczenia. Dzięki temu pacjenci czują się słuchani i zrozumiani, co pozytywnie wpływa na ich doświadczenie związane z chorobą i leczeniem. Pedagogical Forum (Forum Pedagogiczne) publishes scholarly texts (articles, reviews, reports) with educational concepts of contemporary theories and practices. It creates platfm for dialogue and exchange of ideas on current educational issues, both in Poland, in other European countries and around the world. The journal comes out in paper version twice a year (biannually). Editorial team accepts scholarly texts  representing all the sub-disciplines of contemporary sciences of education (pedagogy) in Polish and English.

The semi-annual journal "Ius Matrimoniale" is a scientific journal  of the Faculty of Canon Law at UKSW, which has been published since 1990. Its formula covers mainly the scope of issues concerning ecclesiastical marriage law and family law. The semi-annual "Ius Matrimoniale"  is a nationwide journal, published in Polish and in world congress languages. It can be subscribed both in Poland and abroad as part of international scientific exchange.

Publication schedule

The journal is published as a semi-annual one. Thus, two issues are published each calendar year. One at the end of the first half-year and one at the end of the calendar year. The original version is the printed version. Electronic files with individual articles are available under 'Current issue' or 'Archive'.

Kwartalnik internetowy „Kultura-Media-Teologia” jest recenzowanym pismem naukowym wydawanym przez Wydział Teologiczny UKSW w Warszawie, znajdującym się na liście czasopism MNiSW. Kwartalnik Prawa Publicznego jest ogólnopolskim czasopismem naukowym, którego celem jest rozwijanie refleksji naukowej nad istotą i funkcjami prawa publicznego rozumianego jako prawo służące dobru ogólnemu ludzi (wspólnoty międzynarodowej, państwowej i lokalnej), oraz jego relacjami z prawem prywatnym, a także pogłębienie analizy różnych instytucji prawnych z poszczególnych dziedzin prawa publicznego.

LIBERTAS RELIGIOSA. Studium interdyscyplinarne wolności religijnej jest recenzowanym rocznikiem naukowym, redagowanym i wydawanym przez Uniwersyteckie Centrum Badań Wolności Religijnej UKSW w Warszawie. W czasopiśmie publikuje się artykuły, recenzje, sprawozdania i raporty poświęcone aktualnym tematom i wydarzeniom związanym z problematyką wolności religijnej. Wszystkie artykuły publikowane w czasopiśmie są dostępne bezpłatnie. Czasopismo Studentów i Doktorantów Wydziału Prawa i Administracji Uniwersytetu Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie "Młody Jurysta" jest ogólnopolskim recenzowanym pismem naukowym wydawanym w formie elektronicznej od 2013 r. Jest dedykowany studentom, absolwentom i doktorantom WPiA UKSW oraz wydziałów prawa i administracji innych uniwersytetów. Umożliwia młodym naukowcom publikację artykułów naukowych, glos, przeglądów orzecznictwa i recenzji pod opieką merytoryczną uznanych autorytetów w różnych dziedzinach prawa.

The Polish Review of International and European Law has been published regularly since 2011, and since 2021 it has been included in the ministerial list of scored journals (currently 40 points).

The Polish Review of International and European Law aims primarily at the presentation and promotion of the research results of Polish science in the field of international and European law. The journal is also open to representatives of the doctrine from other countries, and its aim is to include foreign doctrine of international and European law in the scientific discourse and to promote foreign scientific centres.

The Polish Review of International and European Law covers various fields of international law, both public and private, and European Union law. We are aware of the interdependence of different levels of legal regulation in the modern world, which indicates the flexibility of the limits of internationalization of modern law.

The Polish Review of International and European Law publishes studies and articles, case law commentaries, Polish law practice and book reviews.

The Polish Review of International and European Law is indexed in the European Reference Index for the Humanities and Social Sciences (ERIH PLUS), Index Copernicus International and BazHum.

"Politologia" jest czasopismem naukowym (rocznikiem) publikującym wyniki badań empirycznych nad zjawiskami politycznymi. Stosujemy przyjęte w publikacjach naukowych zasady etyki, publikacje są anonimowo recenzowane.

Polski Przegląd Stosunków Międzynarodowych jest rocznikiem poświęconym zagadnieniom dotyczącym szeroko pojętych stosunków międzynarodowych i dziedzin pokrewnych. Czasopismo powstało w 2011 roku. Na jego łamach publikowane są artykuły w języku polskim (do każdego z nich dołączone jest streszczenie w języku angielskim) i w językach obcych (wraz ze streszczeniem w języku polskim).

"Prawo Kanoniczne" to specjalistyczne czasopismo prawno - historyczne Wydziału Prawa Kanonicznego UKSW, ukazujące się od 1958 roku. Zamieszczane są w nim publikacje z różnych dyscyplin prawa kanonicznego, prawa rzymskiego i prawa międzynarodowego i polskiego prawa cywilnego. Kwartalnik wydawany jest w języku polskim. Często zamieszczane są w nim rozprawy autorów zagranicznych w ich ojczystych językach. Podstawowe działy czasopisma to: rozprawy i artykuły, komunikaty, materiały do historii nauki i literatury prawa kanonicznego w Polsce, recenzje, sprawozdania z różnych konferencji i sesji naukowych oraz bieżące informacje z działalności Wydziału Prawa Kanonicznego UKSW.

“Saeculum Christianum,” a historical and social journal, was founded in 1994. Rev. prof. dr hab. Józef Mandziuk was the founder and, until 2013, editor-in-chief of the magazine, published by the publishing house of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw (UKSW). From the beginning, “Saeculum Christianum” was a periodical associated with the Faculty of Historical and Social Sciences of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw, appearing as a bi-annual. The journal published articles on sociological, political, and historical topics.

In 2014, many changes were introduced to the structure of “Saeculum Christianum.” The Editorial Team and the Scientific Council were reorganized, inviting professors from Polish and foreign universities. In addition, the journal received a new graphic layout, changed its name to “Saeculum Christianum Historical Journal” and evolved into an annual associated with the UKSW Institute of Historical Sciences. Rev. prof. dr hab. Waldermar Graczyk is its editor-in-chief.

The “Seminare. Learned Investigations” journal is published by the Francis de Sales Scientific Society (TNFS) - a community undertaking scientific research and educational activities inspired by the humanism of Francis de Sales and Christian personalism. The profile and thematic scope of the journal relate to the broadly understood “world of youth” approached from the perspective of various scientific disciplines. The journal focuses on publishing texts from the area of pedagogy, education, psychology, sociology, philosophy, anthropology, theology, and history of education. In addition, “Seminare” strives to provide a broad platform for sharing ideas and experiences concerning the “world of youth” and the contemporary dispute about the human being.

Since 2003, the journal “Studia Ecologiae et Bioethicae” has documented the specific character, scope, and development trends of the research conducted at the Institute of Ecology and Bioethics at the Faculty of Christian Philosophy at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw (UKSW), transformed in 2020 into the Centre for Ecology and Ecophilosophy. The journal aims to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas, postulates, and experiences related to various manifestations of environmental crises. The journal draws on the main methodological assumption of the Centre for Ecology and Ecophilosophy research, highlighting the need for parallel and even complementary methodology, i.e., for adopting an empirical and humanistic approach to contemporary ecological issues.

A special example of the said complementarity is the research findings published in the journal from the area of biological and philosophical scientific domains since, apart from manifesting the complementary character of biology and philosophy per se, they also imply the prospective involvement in that question of specialists from many other branches of science, e.g., environmental sociologists, political scientists, educators, lawyers, economists, and theologians. This specific profile of the journal provides grounds for the creative exchange of thoughts and experiences among representatives of various institutions, and research centers both in Poland and abroad.

"Studia Gdańskie" is an open access semi-annual journal, publishing texts which present scholarly and scientific reflection and research on religious and socio-cultural issues. The studies published in the journal are part of the present-day discussion on problems in the fields of history of religion and the Church, biblical exegesis, systematic and practical theology, as well as philosophy and sociology.

„Studia Katechetyczne" to pismo naukowe poświęcone upowszechnianiu wyników badań i dokonań katechetycznych oraz pogłębianiu systematycznej wiedzy z różnych działów katechetyki. Jest wydawane na Wydziale Teologicznym UKSW, we współpracy ze Stowarzyszeniem Katechetyków Polskich. Czasopismo zawiera artykuły naukowe i wyniki przeprowadzonych badań z zakresu katechetyki, służąc rozwojowi i upowszechnianiu tej dziedziny. „Studia Katechetyczne” wydawane są w języku polskim. W czasopiśmie publikowane są artykuły w języku polskim, zawierające streszczenie oraz słowa kluczowe w językach angielskim i włoskim. Możliwe jest również zamieszczanie w pełnej wersji artykułów w językach obcych. „Studia nad Rodziną” wydawane są od 1997 roku jako półrocznik Wydziału Studiów nad Rodziną Uniwersytetu Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego. Od 2016 r. czasopismo stało się kwartalnikiem. Od 2020 r. jest ponownie półrocznikiem, wydawanym w formie elektronicznej.

Na platformie czasopism UKSW udostępniamy zawartość numerów, w tym pełne teksty publikacji, począwszy od 2014 r. Pełne dane bibliograficzne od początku istnienia czasopisma (1997 r.) można znaleźć na stronie BazHum, natomiast pełne teksty wszystkich numerów archiwalnych w BazHum pełnotekstowej. Od 2021 r. czasopismo ukazuje się jedynie w formie online.

W punktacji czasopism naukowych, ogłoszonej 23 grudnia 2015 r., czasopismo uzyskało 8 punktów – część B wykazu czasopism naukowych, pozycja 1777.

Studia Philosophiae Christianae is a biannual  (until 2010 it was a biannual, 2011-2020 - quarterly), published continuously since 1965, edited by the Faculty of Christian Philosophy of the Academy of Catholic Theology, and since 2000 - by the Institute of Philosophy of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. SPCh publishes original articles on philosophy, as well as book reviews and reports on philosophical events. Articles are published mainly in Polish and English, and occasionally in other congress languages. We provide content of issues, including full texts, on the website, starting in 2015. Full bibliographic data - from the beginning of the journal's existence (1965) - can be found in BazHum, and the full texts of all archival issues in the full-text BazHum. „Studia Prymasowskie” są rocznikiem wydawanym od 2007 roku przez Wydawnictwo Naukowe UKSW działającym przy Ośrodku Dokumentacji i Studiów nad Osobą i Nauczaniem Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego. Założycielem pisma i pierwszym redakoterm był bp prof. dr hab. Andrzej Dziuba (2007-2021). Obecnie pismo to kierowane jest przez ks. dr. hab. Rafała Bednarczyka, prof. ucz. i pozostaje związane z powołanym w 2023 r. przez ks. prof. dr. hab. Ryszarda Czekalskiego, rektora UKSW Centrum Myśli Bł. Stefana Wyszyńskiego.

Studia Psychologica: Theoria et praxis is a journal presenting new, original psychological analyses, theoretical as well as empirical. We are open to the exchange of psychological ideas, discussions revealing the specificity of approaches and frameworks espoused by various authors, presenting the diversity of perspectives and disciplines of psychology. All texts dealing with subjects crucial for psychology are welcome.

About the journal

"Theological Studies Bialystok Drohiczyn Lomża" is a scientific journal that undertakes theological reflection. Established in 1983 on the initiative of Bishop prof. Edward Ozorowski (UKSW) and Fr. prof. Jozef M. Dolęga (UKSW) in order to publish the scientific achievements of the theologians of the Bialystok Metropolis. The journal, being an annual, has been published continuously since 1983.

The home university center for "Theological Studies Bialystok Drohiczyn Lomża" is the Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw. We undertake cooperation with national and foreign university centers. The high substantive level of the journal is evidenced by the presence in the scientific council of outstanding specialists, university scientists from Europe and North America. The journal is reviewed by scientists recognized in their field, and the reviewing procedure is open and transparent thanks to the electronic system Platform & Workfow by OJS/PKP.

The thematic scope of published articles is very wide. They primarily concern a man immersed in the modern world, and at the same time open to God. The journal wants to be a kind of "areopagus" where various theological views clash. He remains interested in such scientific disciplines as:

Studia Theologica Varsaviensia (40 punktów), jest półrocznikiem naukowym, ukazującym sie od 1963 roku. Czasopismo jest przypisane do następujących dyscyplin: filozofia, polonistyka, literaturoznawstwo, nauki socjologiczne, prawo kanoniczne, nauki biblijne, nauki teologiczne. Pismo składa się z następujących zasadniczych części: rozprawy i artykuły (prezentowanych tematycznie) oraz dział "Varia" zawierający inne artykuły naukowe.

UCS is included into academic journals list of the Ministry of Education and Science (MEiN - position 32563), authors receive 20 points for every research article published.

“Academic Journal of Sociology” (Polish - "Uniwersyteckie Czasopismo Socjologiczne" - UCS) is semi-annual periodical published by Academic Publishing House of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw (Polish: UKSW). Editorial board members include the employees of the Institute of Sociological Sciences UKSW. The UCS academic journal contains important texts on theoretical issues (original academic articles), as well as those focusing on research issues (reports). Among publications there are also reviews and specific section “Attempts and débuts” dedicated for doctoral students and early career authors. The journal’s ambition is to expand sociological knowledge about current areas of social practice, referring to many areas and meanings. The thematic scope include mainly sociology per se, but also related disciplines: cultural anthropology, general knowledge about human being and culture, as well as the methodology of sociological research, demography, history and philosophy. 

The journal has been published continuously since 2007. Initially, it functioned only in an electronic form (annually). Since 2014, electronic and traditional-paper versions have been published simultaneously (initially in the quarterly, and now semi-annual format). Editorial office provides circulation of the author’s copies and separate articles. Electronic versions are available on the journal webpage. The UCS journal applies the Open Access policy - free access to publication collections based on the use of a non-exclusive license, assuming the publication of articles under the creative commons CC-BY-ND 4.0 license.

The UCS editors allow the authors of texts to place (deposit) their final versions (submitted, accepted - reviewed and finally published) in a repository of their choice (e.g. ResearchGate, Academia, etc.), provided that the original source of publication, which is the UCS pages, is provided . Warszawskie Studia Pastoralne są indeksowanym periodykiem naukowym wydawanym przez Wydział Teologiczny UKSW. Zamieszczane publikacje są recenzowane i dotyczą tematyki teologicznej ze szczególnym wskazaniem na teologie pastoralną. Redakcja przyjmuje także artykuły z zakresu nauk społecznych oraz humanistycznych.

The journal "Kulturoznawczy Załącznik" is an online academic yearbook published at the Institute of Cultural and Religious Studies at the Faculty of Humanities of Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw. It publishes articles on cultural studies and related subjects (sociology, cultural anthropology, ethnography, media studies, literature studies, film studies, etc.). The journal publishes multilingual texts by independent and non-independent academics, and sometimes also by students of cultural studies (especially scientific articles, reports and communications, photo essays, interviews). The editorial staff cooperates with many research centres in Poland, and the Scientific Council of the journal, as well as the reviewers, includes foreign scholars.

The Legal Journal is a peer-reviewed academic journal, registered under the ISSN: 1643-8183 and eISSN: 2353-8139. Established in 2001 on the initiative of prof. dr hab. Jan Zabłocki, who was its Editor-in-Chief from the moment of founding the journal until 2021. In 2021, this role was taken over by prof. dr hab. Anna Tarwacka. The Legal Journal is affiliated with the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw, and their publisher is Wydawnictwo UKSW (the University publishing house).

The journal is co-financed by the Ministry of Education and Science under contract No. RCN/SP/0301/2021/1 of September 29, 2021; the amount of financial resources constituting aid granted under the "Development of scientific journals" program: PLN 60,400.
