The UKSW Policy on Mandatory Elements of a Scholarly Article, hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”, applies to all journals published by the Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw Publishing House (UKSW Publishing House). The Policy does not apply to journals hosted on the UKSW journal platform and published by other publishers.
Editorial teams of scholarly journals published by the UKSW Publishing House are required to include the information specified below separately for each scholarly article. This requirement applies to every form and file format in which a given article is made available (in particular PDF files, XML files, and other electronic formats). Such information must be clearly assigned to a specific article and may not be presented solely through collective or general references at the level of the journal issue or website.
Each article must include:
1. appropriate p-ISSN and e-ISSN identifiers corresponding to the scholarly journal in which the article is published (where the journal has such identifiers).
2. information concerning the licence under which the article is distributed, i.e. CC BY-ND 4.0, including both the description and the graphical symbol.

3. the Open Access graphical symbol.

4. the ORCID identifier of the author(s).
5. the DOI identifier of the article.
6. the following dates:
1) submission of the article to the editorial team (Received);
2) revision of the article following peer review (Revised);
3) acceptance of the article by the editorial team (Accepted);
4) publication of the article (Published) or, in the case of Online First publication, the date of preliminary publication (Pre-published).
7. statements concerning:
1) authorship / author contributions (only in the case of multi-author articles);
2) research funding;
3) approval of the competent ethics or bioethics committee;
4) conflict of interest;
5) data availability;
6) the use of AI tools;
7) acknowledgements (if the author(s) wish to include them).
The above statements should preferably be placed at the end of the article, before the bibliography.
The document is prepared in two language versions: Polish and English. The Polish-language version shall be considered the original and authoritative version. In the event of any discrepancies or doubts in interpretation, the Polish version shall prevail.
