Open Access Policy
The publishing policy of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw Publishing House (UKSW Publishing House) concerning journals published by the UKSW Publishing House is based on the Libre Open Access standard.
This means that all articles published in journals published by the UKSW Publishing House are made openly accessible, i.e. are made immediately available, free of charge, for reading, downloading, and sharing.
It also means that published materials may not only be read but also reused by others. Articles published in accordance with the Libre Open Access standard may be placed on any website, used for teaching purposes, and included in so-called reading rooms without the need to obtain permission from the author or publisher. However, appropriate attribution to the author and the licence must always be provided.
The copyright policy for materials published in journals published by the UKSW Publishing House is as follows: copyright to published materials remains with the authors.
Articles published in journals published by the UKSW Publishing House are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons CC BY-ND 4.0 International licence, which permits:
Sharing – copying and redistributing the material in any medium or format, for any purpose, including commercial purposes.
Under the following conditions:
Attribution – appropriate credit must be given, a link to the licence must be provided, and any changes made must be indicated. This may be done in any reasonable manner, provided that it does not suggest endorsement by the licensor of the person making the changes or the manner in which the work is used.
NoDerivatives – if the material is remixed, transformed, or built upon, the modified material may not be distributed.
The policy concerning version deposit for materials submitted to the editorial teams of journals published by the UKSW Publishing House is as follows: authors may deposit, without embargo, the following versions of their articles in institutional repositories or other repositories of their choice: (1) submitted, (2) accepted, and (3) published versions.
Editorial fee policy: authors do not bear any costs related to the publication of their articles, including article processing charges (APCs), editorial fees, colour charges, submission fees, page charges, membership fees, print subscription costs, or any other additional fees. Authors also do not receive any financial remuneration for published materials.
The document is prepared in two language versions: Polish and English. The Polish-language version shall be considered the original and authoritative version. In the event of any discrepancies or doubts in interpretation, the Polish version shall prevail.
